Blackstone Inc. (NYSE:BX) entered into the Basic Transaction Agreement to acquire 41.98% stake in Infocom Corporation (TSE:4348) for ¥140 billion in a tender offer transaction on June 18, 2024. A cash consideration valued at ¥6060 per share and of ¥1 per unit of stock acquisition right will be paid by Blackstone Inc. The transaction will be financed through it's own funds of ¥14.2 billion. Blackstone Inc. expects that the Infocom Corporation?s management team will continue to play a leading role in the business operation. Transaction is subject to and has already been approved by Infocom Corporation's board. Transaction is expected to complete on July 31, 2024.
