On December 2, 2021, Hotel Engine, LLC closed the transaction. The transaction was led by returning investor Telescope Partners as well as included participation from funds managed by new investor Blackstone Inc. The transaction included participation from nine investors pursuant to regulation D. The round was raised at a post-money valuation of $1,300,000,000. As part of the transaction, Mickey Arabelovic of Telescope Partners joined the company's board of directors.
