BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) _ Bluegreen Vacations Corp. (BXG) on Monday reported a loss of $8.8 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Boca Raton, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents. Losses, adjusted for severance costs and non-recurring costs, came to 7 cents per share.

The timeshare developer and operator posted revenue of $10.9 million in the period.

Bluegreen Vacations shares have dropped 42% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $6.04, a decrease of 37% in the last 12 months.
