BMMI BSC is a Bahrain-based trading company engaged, along with its subsidiaries, in the wholesale and retail of food, beverages and other consumable items, in addition to the provision of logistics and shipping services. The Company is organized into three business segments: the Contract Services & Supply segment is involved in the contract supply of food, beverages and other consumer products and related services; the Retail & Distribution segment offers retail and distribution of food, beverages and other consumer products, and the Investments and Other Activities segment consists of property, investments, bank balances, and others payables. On October 1, 2013, it acquired its partner's shares in joint venture companies in both North and South Sudan and on October 2, 2013, it acquired land occupation rights and a logistics base in Port-Gentil, Republic of Gabon. In May, 2014, the Company finalized the sale of a Land located in Seef District.
