E Ink, the creator of digital paper technology, has unveiled its E Ink Prism 3 solution, according to a press release. The system allows product designers to choose from an array of patterns and eight different colors on dynamically changing product surfaces, known as dynamic surfaces technology. The system is designed to be eco-friendly, use low-energy consumption, have high personalizing options and be thin and durable using various materials and surfaces, such as BMW's i Vision DEE concept car exhibited at CES 2023.

"E Ink Prism creates unique experiences like never before," Paul Apen, CEO of U.S. Operations at E Ink, said in the release. "Product developers and designers now have the ability to integrate E Ink technology to create dynamic surfaces. E Ink Prism offers the ability to design in a low power, sustainable display solution that is customizable and offers endless design opportunities through a combination of changing colors, patterns and user-defined programs. E Ink works to enable solutions that allow our customers to design smarter devices for a sustainable future."

MSolutions, an AV solutions firm, has announced its 4x1 HDBaseT switch, developed in partnership with the IPMX community (which sets standards for AV over IP); the device "works in concert with HDBaseT to IPMX gateway products to bring cameras, projectors and other HDBaseT equipment onto AV over IP networks," according to a press release.

""If you want to use an IP network to bring laptop or camera signals from one room to another, our product helps customers achieve that without replacing all your HDBaseT gear with AV over IP equipment," Ariel Marcus, CEO at MSolutions, said in the release. "By simply adding our product and some AV over IP equipment, facilities can still utilize everything in their HDBaseT rooms and more broadly scale their HDBaseT asset across facilities of any size. This will ultimately reduce a lot of friction for integrators, IT managers and end users alike."
