(MT Newswires) -- BMW North America's president and CEO expects electric car sales to increase in 2024, as demand remains strong. BMW covers all major electric market segments, and plans to build six all-electric EV models in the U.S. by the end of the decade, with additional facilities under construction in Spartanburg. BMW predicts an increase in the share of EV sales in 2024 and 2025 to around 12% of total sales, and if plug-in hybrids are included, this figure approaches 20%. He refers to the brand's efforts in autonomous driving.
