France hired banks for the syndicated launch of a new 30-year bond indexed to eurozone inflation, excluding tobacco, or OATei, with maturity in July 2053, the French Treasury Agency said Monday.

The issue is planned in the near future, subject to market conditions. Joint bookrunner banks are BNP Paribas, Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, J.P. Morgan and Societe Generale.
