BNY Mellon Strategic Municipals, Inc. announced that the monthly distribution of $0.035 per share. The distributions are payable on March 31, 2021 to shareholders of record on March 12, 2021, with an ex-dividend date of March 11, 2021.
BNY Mellon Strategic Municipals, Inc. (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fundâs investment objective is to maximize income exempt from federal income tax to the extent consistent with the preservation of capital. BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. (the Adviser) serves as the fundâs investment adviser. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal obligations. Generally, the fund invests at least 50% of its net assets in municipal bonds considered investment grade or the unrated equivalent as determined by BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. in the case of bonds, and in the two categories or the unrated equivalent as determined by the Adviser in the case of short-term obligations having or deemed to have maturities of less than one year. BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. serves as investment adviser of the Fund.
