Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc., a nonprofit educational organization honoring the achievements of outstanding individuals and encouraging youth to pursue their dreams through higher education, announced that?Booz Allen President and CEO Horacio Rozanski has been selected for membership in the Class of 2020.

Rozanski?joins 13 other exceptional business, civic, and cultural leaders from across North America in receiving honors. The Horatio Alger Award has been annually bestowed upon esteemed individuals who have succeeded despite facing adversities, and who have remained committed to higher education and charitable efforts in their communities. Describing him as a 'man of outstanding character,' the Association outlined challenges Rozanski faced growing up in Buenos Aires and how that experience fostered in him 'independence and self-reliance as well as a desire to strive for better-economically and, especially, morally.' He emigrated to the United States at age 19 and later became a U.S. citizen.
