Losinger Marazzi, a bouygues Construction subsidiary in Switzerland, is implementing its proposal to build a highly innovative real estate complex for the extension, elevation, construction and demolition of existing buildings at the Maison de Retraite du Petit-Saconnex, located in Geneva, Switzerland. The contract amounts to 117.9 million Swiss francs (EUR108 million*). This program will create a sustainable district of intergenerational and social diversity that will be able to accommodate 600 new inhabitants.

It will create 216 low-rent housing units, a 99-room aparthotel, a medical centre, commercial space and will include the expansion of a 57-bed creche. Similarly, an underground car park with 195 spaces, which will create additional green spaces and meetings on the surface, will be built. The project called 'Cote Parc' aims to open up the Petit-Saconnex retirement home by fully integrating it into the life of the neighborhood and will also ensure the sustainability of the institution thanks to the annual rent that the investor will pay to the Retirement Home as part of the provision of the plot in right of area.

This will allow the financing of renovations of existing buildings as well as the development of new services for residents, employees and future residents. This project is characterized from an environmental point of view by the presence of a park of more than 5 hectares, rare in downtown Geneva, where a senior course, vegetable gardens, an orchard and a new furniture layout will be carried out. The new homes will also meet the high energy performance (HPE) building standards as well as the Swiss Minergie P energy label for very low energy buildings.

The work, which will start in autumn 2021, will make it possible to deliver the first housing units from the end of 2023.

The Maison de Retraite du Petit-Saconnex and Losinger Marazzi are partners in this project by La Fonciere, one of the largest real estate investment funds in Switzerland.
