Bouygues : Addressing needs for new office uses, Bouygues Construction is expanding its "Officity" range of services

PRESS RELEASE

Thursday 16 December 2021

ADDRESSING NEEDS FOR NEW OFFICE USES, BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION IS EXPANDING ITS "OFFICITY" RANGE OF SERVICES

Bouygues Construction and subsidiaries Bouygues Bâtiment, Linkcity and Bouygues Energies & Services present their Officity range of services for the commercial property market. Officity is the only offer on the French market that takes account of all its customers' office needs. The approach places the focus on users.

Officity is Bouygues Construction's approach to designing, building, running and operating attractive and value- creating offices that are adaptable to changing uses.

A catalogue of solutions covering all needs from design through to the operation and maintenance of offices, but also their refurbishment, Officity means the ability to adapt to the needs of investors, owners and residents, providing tailor-made solutions to a wide range of issues (health, quality of life, new working methods, the overall economy of the building, energy transition, adaptation to changes in use, technologies, urban planning, environmental issues, etc.). With Officity, Bouygues Construction is meeting three key expectation of its customers in the commercial property sector:

  • ATTRACTIVE OFFICES that make it easier for investors to attract tenants and for businesses to be able to retain their personnel.
Thermal and visual comfort, indoor air quality, alternative spaces complementing traditional workstations, vegetation, modular work spaces adapted to different work modes, soft mobility options around the building, personal services (concierge, hairdresser, ticketing, medical treatment, meal delivery, etc.)

Quadrans, Paris

Parc Actif, Lormont

Biotope, Lille

  • VALUE-CREATINGOFFICES with an optimised environmental footprint, offering better overall economy of the building and further enhancing real estate value.
Optimisation of resources in the design, construction and operation phases, reuse of materials, use of biosourced materials, promotion of biodiversity, better use of spaces and services, in particular by opening them up to the outside world, as a space can have several functions and/or users, redistribution of energy, heat and rainwater generated by it to the neighbourhood and surrounding buildings, etc.

Sky 56, Lyon

IPHE Paris-Saclay, Saclay

Greencity, Zurich

  • ADAPTABLE OFFICES that evolve with changing uses.
Offices open to the outside world, sharing of resources and services with other users, open and interoperable systems and equipment to facilitate operation of the building and services, provision for the reversibility of spaces, etc.

Îlot Fertile, Paris

Chapelle International, Paris

Confluence, Lyon

Bouygues Construction has met these challenges by assembling a toolbox consisting of more than 200 innovative solutions, calling on its R&D and engineering teams, together with a vast ecosystem of partners (start-ups,medium-sized and large companies).

Officity enables Bouygues Construction to position itself not only as a designer, builder and/or operator, but also as an integrator and facilitator: taking uses into account right from the design stage of the project and envisaging how they will evolve through the services and maintenance provided throughout the life of the building helps to address customers' expectations and challenges.

"Our role consists of assisting investors in commercial real estate in their thinking and decision-making by providing tailor- made solutions right from the design stage to take into account the flexibility of uses and to make offices attractive," comments Xavier Blot, Executive Vice President of Linkcity Ile-de-France.

"Officity gives us the opportunity to increase customer satisfaction by providing the full range of Bouygues Construction's expertise through an approach focused on use, support and hospitality, in a relationship of trust. In this way, we encourage exchanges between maintenance teams and end-users of buildings to improve their day-to-day lives by offering them workspaces that are more efficient, more pleasant and better suited to their ways of working," adds Dominique Néel, CEO France of Bouygues Energies & Services.
