--BP PLC has put plans to restart operations at its biggest European refinery on hold following strike action by workers, Bloomberg reports.

--The oil giant's workers at the refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, had previously threatened to strike over pay demand, and are now limiting efforts to resolve a fault that halted fuel productions last week, according to prior reports.

--"The planned restart has been put on hold and operations at the refinery remain shut down," the company told Bloomberg in an email.
