NOTICE TO THE MARKET

São Paulo, August 2, 2022 - Braskem S.A. ("Braskem" or "Company") (ticker B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK) hereby informs the market and its shareholders that it signed an agreement for acquisition of shares and subscription for new shares issued by Wise Plásticos S.A. ("Wise"), amounting to an ownership interest of 61.1% in the capital stock of Wise ("Transaction"). The Transaction is subject to approval by the competent authorities and other conditions precedent established by the parties.

Wise is a Brazilian company based in Itatiba, state of São Paulo, which has been operating in the sector of mechanical recycling for over 15 years, with capacity to recycle approximately 25 kton of plastic waste annually. The company has a strategic expansion plan that aims to seize opportunities in this market. The amount disbursed by the Company is estimated at R$121 million, excluding adjustments typical of this type of transaction, and a significant portion of such amount will be directly invested in Wise, to double its current production capacity to around 50,000 ton by 2026.

This Transaction aims to accelerate the chain development and leverage the recycling process in Brazil and is in line with the Company's Macro Goal of Eliminating Plastic Waste, which includes projects focusing on education, recycling infrastructure, mechanical recycling and advanced recycling.

In accordance with the assessments conducted by the Company and its advisors, the Transaction does not meet the requirements established in article 256, items I and II of Federal Law 6,404/76 and, therefore, does not require approval by a Shareholders Meeting of the Company.
