(Alliance News) - Brembo NV has signed a 10-year agreement with Axpo Polska, a subsidiary of the Swiss Axpo Group, for the supply of 1 TWh of electricity from renewable sources destined for its production plants in Poland.
As Il Sole 24 Ore reported Thursday, the agreement includes the sale of guarantees of origin, ensuring that the energy used comes entirely from renewable resources. Brembo's production sites will be powered by this sustainable energy.
The agreement confirms the commitment of Brembo, led by Matteo Tiraboschi, to environmental sustainability. Globally, 75 percent of the electricity used by the group is renewable, with 100 percent achieved in Italy, Mexico and Brazil.
