AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Brigham Minerals Inc. (MNRL) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $38.5 million.

The Austin, Texas-based company said it had profit of 69 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 83 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 67 cents per share.

The mineral and royalty interests company posted revenue of $94.2 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $79.2 million.
