  British American Tobacco PLC on Wednesday said Ricardo Oberlander will step down as president of Reynolds American Inc. and be replaced by Guy Meldrum from Sept. 1. 


  The FTSE 100 tobacco company said Mr. Oberlander will pursue other opportunities after having been a member of its management board for seven years. 


  Mr. Meldrum is currently the regional director of the company for Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, and will be replaced by Michael Dijanosic.
