TORONTO (AP) _ Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (BAM) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.12 billion.

The Toronto-based company said it had profit of 66 cents per share.

The asset management company posted revenue of $21.79 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported net income of $3.97 billion, or $2.39 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $75.73 billion.

Brookfield Asset Management shares have fallen almost 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 37% in the last 12 months.
