Globalvia Inversiones, S.A.U. agreed to acquire a 34% stake in Brookfield Americas Infrastructure Holdings Inversiones Chile I SpA from Brookfield Americas Infrastructure Fund, L.P., fund of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (TSX:BAM.A) for approximately CAD 160 million on September 15, 2021. Frontal Trust Infraestructura Alpha Fondo de Inversi?n, managed by Frontal Trust S.A. and Apoquindo SpA will hold the remaining share of 66%, 33% by each of them in Brookfield Americas Infrastructure Holdings Inversiones Chile I SpA. Transaction is expected to close in November 2021. Santander UK plc acted as financial advisor to Globalvia Inversiones, S.A.U. The Bank of Nova Scotia acted as financial advisor for Brookfield.
