Browns Investments PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company, which is engaged in investments in listed and non-listed companies and investments in subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities. The Company's segments include investments, leisure and travel, construction/manufacturing and trading, plantation power, and real estate. It holds various plantations in Sri Lanka and Sierra Leone, with the main plantation crops being tea, rubber, cinnamon and sugarcane. The Company operates approximately seven hotels in Sri Lanka, five hotels in Maldives and one hotel in Mauritius. Its hotels include Occidental Eden Beruwala, Occidental Paradise Resort & Spa Dambulla, Sheraton Kosgoda, Sansun Boutique (Elephant Corridor), Stafford Bungalow, and Ubuntu Beach Villam. The Company has approximately 880 residential units of the Colombo International Financial Center (CIFC) mixed development project. Its port city projects include Marina Hotel Holdings, Colombo Marina Development and Port City Cifc Project.
