BT today announced the deployment of its transformational Global Fabric network as a service (NaaS) in Digital Realty's strategic carrier-neutral facilities (CNFs) around the world, a presence spanning the world's key cloud locations.

This network is designed to be 'flexible, scalable and resilient, offering near-instant control with a choice of connectivity on a pay-per-use basis', BT points out.

According to the company's release, Global Fabric will enable customers to unlock the full value of their data by enabling employees to access it more easily, securely and compliantly, across the enterprise.

Digital Realty operates more than 300 CNFs on six continents, in over 25 countries and more than 50 metropolitan areas.
