0924 GMT - BT Group is among the most mentioned companies across news items over the past four hours, according to Factiva data, after the U.K. regulator cleared Openreach's new pricing offer for full-fiber broadband. The news sent BT shares up 1% making it one of just a handful of risers in the FTSE 100 index. BT informed the regulator of its new pricing offer for full-fiber services--known as Equinox 2--last December as required under the regulatory rules. The offer gives lower prices to retail providers that agree to use Openreach's full-fiber products for new orders rather than legacy copper products. Ofcom said that based on evidence available it didn't consider the new pricing discounts to be anti-competitive. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva. (ian.walker@wsj.com.)
