Bumi Armada Berhad announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company's revenue was MYR 402.9 million compared with MYR 459.1 million a year ago. The decline in revenue was mainly due to a 28.1% fall in FPSO and FGS contributions on the back of the loss of revenue from Armada Claire during second quarter of 2016, lower conversion activities as new projects near completion prior to sail away, and lower contribution from Armada Perkasa. EBITDA was MYR 198.7 million compared with MYR 269.5 million a year ago. Net loss was MYR 518.3 million or 8.84 sen per share compared with MYR 291.5 million or 4.97 sen per share a year ago. The Group posted a net profit before impairment charge for the second quarter 2016 of MYR 57.1 million. For the six months, the company's revenue was MYR 833.6 million compared with MYR 1,031.2 million a year ago. EBITDA was MYR 450.2 million compared with MYR 556.5 million a year ago. Net loss was MYR 494.9 million or 8.44 sen per share compared with MYR 219.5 million or 3.74 sen per share a year ago.
