The Financial Times has released its Diversity Leaders 2021 list, and Bureau Veritas is ranked in the top 20 of the 92 listed French companies.

The company also ranked 221st out of all 850 European companies on the list.

On November 18, the Financial Times released a report highlighting companies' progress toward achieving diversity and professional inclusion. The report, part of a special issue in the daily edition and on FT.com, includes a global benchmark ranking of European leaders in diversity.

Bureau Veritas is ranked 221st out of the 850 European companies on the list, #5 out of 19 companies in the Consulting and Accounting section and made the top 20 of the 92 French companies listed. This marks a significant improvement on its previous ranking. In 2019, Bureau Veritas was ranked 260th out of 700 listed companies and 36th among French companies.

The FT Diversity Leaders 2021 list recognizes companies' performance in promoting diversity in all its forms to reflect broader society. Factors include age, gender parity, ethnic origin, disability and sexual orientation.

Diversity Leaders were identified through an independent survey of a large sample of over 100,000 employees who were asked to rate their own employers as well as other businesses. In addition, the opinions of human resources experts were taken into account to further enrich the analysis. Companies across all sectors in 16 European countries were thus assessed. In total, more than 300,000 evaluations were used to compile the final list of 2021 Diversity Leaders.

This new ranking reflects Bureau Veritas' commitment to fostering a truly inclusive and diverse workplace and culture.
