Burkhalter Group closed 2021 with very positive results

Our confident outlook has proved well-founded. The goal we set ourselves of surpassing the figures from the 2019 financial year, which had also been a successful one, was achieved with earnings per share of CHF 3.99 (previous year CHF 2.43, 2019 CHF 3.72).

Further strength secured

Through the acquisition of Tabelec Force et Commandes SA in Aclens (VD) on 29 March 2021, Mérinat SA in Vevey (VD) on 1 July 2021 and Elektrohüs AG in Susten (VS) on 3 January 2022, we expanded the Burkhalter Group's network to 49 companies based in 108 locations.

New member of the Board of Directors and new Management Board welcomed

Peter Weigelt, who had been a member of the Board of Directors of Burkhalter Holding Ltd for 17 years, did not stand for re-election at the Shareholders' Meeting on

25 May 2021. Nina Remmers, who works in change man-agement and communication, was elected to this role. After 14 years, Marco Syfrig resigned as CEO and Delegate to the Board of Directors with e³ect from 31 December 2021 but will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.

Zeno Böhm took over the role of CEO on 1 January 2022. The CFO is Urs Domenig, the former managing director of Electra Buin SA in Scuol, which is part of the Burkhalter Group.

Proposal to pay a dividend

The Board of Directors plans to ask the Shareholders' Meeting taking place on 31 May 2022 to approve a dividend of CHF 3.80 gross (previous year CHF 2.40, 2019 CHF 3.70) per share.

360° Swiss electrotechnics

Electrical engineering begins at the power utility company and includes all the processes that culminate in the management of electrical machines and installations for the end user. The Burkhalter Group provides a full range of high-quality precision services: 360° Swiss electrotechnics.

Installations

Electrical installations are our key area of expertise. We undertake these in single-family homes and residential developments, in industrial and commercial enterprises, in public buildings such as schools, hospitals and shopping centres, in hotels and infra-structure facilities, etc.

Switchboards

Our service ranges from simple distribu-tion boards and custom-made DIY frames through to type-tested plants for industry and trade. We also plan and create con-trol cabinets for applications in building, measurement and control technology. And because everything doesn't always have to be new, we also carry out conversions and modifications to existing switchboards.

Service and maintenance

Electrical installations age and need to be replaced from time to time. Our staff carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work professionally and promptly. The size of the job is irrelevant: we fit lights, maintain technical facilities in commercial buildings and undertake smaller electrical alterations for private individuals, trade and industry.

Telematics

Since the field of information and commu-nications is subject to constant change, our main focus is on needs-based consultancy, planning and implementation of modern communication and network solutions. We also offer comprehensive round-the-clock support.

Automation

With our automation solutions, technical equipment such as lighting, blinds, heating, ventilation and multimedia and security technology can be controlled at any time and from any location - and the associated energy consumption can be controlled at the same time.

Power line construction

Power line construction provides us with a reliable power supply and an uninterrupt-ed flow of electricity and data. Our services include managing electricity companies, analysing and advising on power lines, plan-ning and executing power line construction.

Security

The protection of property, data and material assets is becoming increasingly important. That's why, together with our partners, we offer individual security systems such as burglar alarms and alarm, video and access control systems.

Swiss Projects

Companies with multiple locations in Switzer-land want a partner who can offer them all electrical engineering services from a single provider. Our Swiss Projects department offers just that - a personal contact ensures that the project is undertaken by one of our local Group companies.
