Cadence Design Systems, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter and half year ended July 3, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was USD 728.285 million compared to USD 638.418 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 185.438 million compared to USD 151.950 million a year ago. Net income was USD 155.900 million compared to USD 131.288 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.56 compared to USD 0.47 a year ago.
