           Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain
           Officers.

On February 1, 2023, Paul G. Townsley, Vice President, Corporate Development, notified the California Water Service Group (the "Company") of his intention to retire effective May 1, 2023 (the "retirement date"). To assist in the transition of Mr. Townsley's duties and responsibilities, it is anticipated that Mr. Townsley and the Company will enter into an agreement on or about the retirement date, pursuant to which he will continue to serve in an advisory capacity to the Company regarding the organization's business development functions for an agreed period of time.

The Company expects to announce Mr. Townsley's replacement before the retirement date.
