We hope you are all enjoying the weekend. Right now Xander Schauffele is tied for the lead at the Waste Management Phoenix Open through three rounds with a bag that includes an Epic Speed Driver (9*), Apex Prototype Irons (4-PW), an Odyssey O-Works Red #7 CH Putter, and a 2020 Chrome Soft X Golf Ball.

He's had an outstanding week driving the ball and currently leads the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee. Here are some quick details on his equipment setup this week:

His Driver

Xander put the Epic Speed Driver in play during his first start of 2021 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions - since then he's finished in the top-5 at Kapalua and Torrey Pines, and he's at the top of the leaderboard this week. Through the first three rounds this week, he's averaging over 326 yards per drive for the week while hitting over 73% of fairways at TPC Scottsdale. Xander has said, 'There's really nothing like the ball speed you get with Epic. You can tell that there's something different about the design, and it's so consistently long.' He's looking to make it two wins for Epic Speed over the past three PGA Tour events, following Si-Woo Kim's victory at The American Express.

His Golf Ball

Xander continues to use a 2020 Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, and he says that he plays it because 'the distance and control are exactly what I want.' This would also be the second win in three weeks for Chrome Soft X after Si-Woo Kim's victory in the desert.

His Putter

Xander is also having a great week on the greens with his trusted O-Works Red #7 CH Putter that features a White Hot insert. Xander likes the alignment wings that he gets with the #7 shape, along with the feel he gets from the insert. He's currently 4th in the field in Strokes Gained: Putting.

KH Lee Is In Contention

Callaway staffer KH Lee is also in the mix at 15-under with an Epic MAX LS Driver in the bag, and he's averaging over 300 yards per drive on the week. Lee is using our X Forged CB Irons as well and he's hit over 85% of greens in regulation through the first three rounds!
