EDITORE SHAREHOLDERS

Rome, 20 June 2018 - Further to the most recent communication dated May 25, 2018, notice is hereby given that the period in which entitled parties could exercise the right of withdrawal, pursuant to Art. 2437, paragraph 1(a) of the Civil Code, ended on June 9, 2018. This was the result of the motion passed by the extraordinary shareholders' meeting of Caltagirone Editore S.p.A. ("Caltagirone Editore" or the "company") on April 23, 2018, approving the amendment of Art. 2 (Corporate Purpose) of the By-Laws and thus envisaging a significant change in the company's activity.

Based on the notifications received by the company to date, the right of withdrawal was validly exercised for 16.049.551 company shares, with a total liquidation value of Euro 21.554.546,99.

Further details are available in the notice published today, pursuant to Art. 84 of the Regulation adopted by Consob Resolution No. 11971/1999 (Issuers' Regulation), in relation to the rights offering and the pre-emption right on Caltagirone Editore withdrawal shares for Caltagirone Editore shareholders, pursuant to Art. 2437-quater, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of the Civil Code, in accordance with the procedures and terms therein. This notice was published pursuant to law and may be viewed on the websitewww.caltagironeeditore.com/Governance/Notice, in the authorised storage mechanism "eMarket-Storage" and filed today with the Register of Companies of Rome and published in the newspaper "Il Messaggero" on 21 June 2018.
