SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (AP) _ Cameco Corp. (CCJ) on Wednesday reported a loss of $45.8 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 15 cents per share.

The uranium producer posted revenue of $284.5 million in the period.

Cameco shares have climbed 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped nearly 3% in the last 12 months.
