VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Capstone Mining Corp. (CSFFF) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $13.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had profit of 3 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 2 cents per share.

The base metals mining company posted revenue of $113.6 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $16 million, or 4 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $418.7 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 57 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 43 cents.
