Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad announced Temporary Suspension of Operations. Reference is made to the Malaysian Government’s Full Movement Control Order (“FMCO”) which is effective from 1 June 2021 to 14 June 2021 to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection in the country and in line with the National Security Council’s standard operating procedures announcement on 1 June 2021, the Company’s brewery in Shah Alam is temporarily closed from 2 June 2021 and necessary arrangements to work-from-home for employees are in place. Aligned with the global Carlsberg Group’s measures, the company have implemented comprehensive business continuity plan in Malaysia that maps the potential impact across operations along with the appropriate response required to ensure minimal disruptions and impact to business.
