Carvajal Empaques SA is a Colombia-based company engaged in the packaging industry. The Company primarily designs, produces and distributes all types of packaging solutions for industrial and consumer goods, such as cartons, fixed wall plastic and disposable containers, foam plastic dinnerware, vacuum packages and collapsible aluminum tubes, among others. The Company has operations established in Colombia, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and the United States. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Grupo Convermex SA de CV, Peruana de Moldeados SA, Inversiones Especializadas en Articulos Plasticos SA, Paper Flex Containers SAC and Carpak Inversiones SAS, among others.
