Casino, Guichard-Perrachon S.A. (ENXTPA:CO) said it is considering selling a portion of its stake in Brazilian cash-and-carry business Assai for about $500 million (498.8 million). A potential transaction would be carried out through a secondary public offering and could be completed by the end of November 2022, depending on market conditions, Casino said in a brief statement, highlighting that no final decision has been made. The targeted proceeds from a potential deal could be increased depending on market conditions.
