Castellana Properties SOCIMI SA acquired Spanish Retail Portfolio from Redevco Iberian Ventures for approximately €200 million on June 27, 2017. Purchase consideration is subject to potential adjustment based on movements in the net asset value of the property which is anticipated to result in an upward adjustment of €2.5 million. As part of the financing, Castellana has procured debt funding of €94.8 million by way of loans from Spanish lenders secured over the portfolio while the remaining €98.2 million of the purchase consideration plus €5.1 million of anticipated acquisition costs will be funded by Vukile via Castellana from internal cash resources and available facilities. JLL and Dentons US LLP acted as advisors to Redevco Iberian Ventures while Grant Thornton International Ltd., RPE, Ashurst LLP and DokeiRE acted as advisors to Vukile Property Fund Limited, parent of Castellana Properties.
