NOTICE

(For the attention of Equity Shareholders of the

Company)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Act") read with the Investor Education and protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 and the IEPF Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Amendment Rules, 2017(Rules") notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, that the Company is required to transfer all shares in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimed by the shareholders for seven consecutive years or more, to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF")Account.

In pursuance of the said Rules, the Company Is In the process of communicating individually with the concerned shareholders whose shares and unpaid / unclaimed dividends thereon for the year 2013 are liable to be transferred to the IEPF Account, for taking appropriate action. The Company is also in the process of uploading details of such shareholders on its website atwww.castrol.co.in

Notice is also hereby given to all such shareholders to make an application to the Company / Registrar on or before 31 May 2021 with a request for claiming unpaid final dividend for the Financial Year ended 31 December 2013 onwards so that the unpaid / unclaimed dividend and shares are not transferred to the IEPF, It may be noted that if no response or claim is received by the Company or the Registrar on or before 31 May 2021, the Company will be constrained to transfer such shares to the IEPF Authority, without any further notice

Concerned shareholders may note that both the unclaimed dividend and the shares transferred to IEPF Authority including all benefits accruing on such shares, if any, can be claimed back by them from IE PF Authority after following the procedure prescribed by the Rules. Shareholders may note that no claim shall lie against the Company in respect of unclaimed dividend amount and shares transferred to [Epp Authority pursuant to the Rules.
