During the European Week for Sustainable Development, which runs from September 18 to October 8, 2022, CIS is joining forces with major companies in the Aix-Marseille Provence metropolitan area to take up the challenge of La Goutte Bleue, in partnership with the Pure Ocean association.

The CIS Marseille teams got together and collected 13 bags of waste at the Escale Borély beach in 1 hour and a half, with the aim of helping to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the ocean.

This participation is a great initiative in favor of a zero waste environment and the protection of the oceans!

Information on CIS' Sustainability Policy

The Blue Drop is a Pure Ocean initiative that funds ocean research while providing a simple way to help the environment: organize the collection of litter before it reaches the sea. The Blue Drop is a device containing a blue bag made of seaweed, manufactured in France, which can contain up to 30 liters of waste abandoned in nature. For each Blue Drop kit distributed, 5 euros are donated to Pure Ocean. Pure Ocean is an international endowment fund based in Marseille and Lorient. Its main mission is to mobilize civil society to support ambitious and innovative scientific projects for the protection of biodiversity and fragile marine ecosystems.
