CARMICHAELS, Pa. (AP) _ CB Financial Services Inc. (CBFV) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $223,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The bank, based in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, said it had a loss of 4 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and asset impairment costs, were 59 cents per share.

The holding company for Pennsylvania-based Community Bank posted revenue of $13 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $12.2 million, beating Street forecasts.

CB Financial Services shares have increased 15% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 25% in the last 12 months.
