CBRE Global Investors today announces key promotions and appointments as it executes its strategy to be a market leader in sustainable real assets investment solutions.

Kim Hourihan has been promoted to Global Chief Investment Officer for CBRE Global Investors, effective January 1, 2022, following an impressive 14-year tenure with the firm and 25 years in the industry. During her time with CBRE Global Investors, she has served as CIO - Americas Direct Real Estate Strategies and helped build and lead one of the firm's flagship funds. Hourihan will succeed Jeremy Plummer, who has decided to retire at the end of the year after a distinguished, near 40-year career.

As Global CIO, Hourihan will be responsible for all real assets investment strategies globally, driving the firm's portfolio management functions and helping formulate and incorporate the firm's investment market house views. She will chair the firm's Global Investment Committee and continues as an Executive Committee member and Co-Chair of the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council.

Key promotions and appointments within Hourihan's team include:

Julie Ingersoll, CIO - Americas Direct Real Estate Strategies
In October, Julie Ingersoll will join the firm as CIO - Americas Direct Real Estate Strategies from CPP Investments, where she was Managing Director overseeing portfolio strategy design and execution for 50 million square feet of U.S. residential and retail investments. She was previously CEO & COO of RREEF Property Trust and held senior positions at DWS. Based in New York, Ingersoll will join the Executive Committee and the Americas Investment Committee, which she will chair beginning January 1, 2022.

Larissa Belova, Portfolio Manager for a U.S. core strategy
Larissa Belova has been promoted to Portfolio Manager for one of the firm's U.S. core strategies, effective immediately. This reflects a strategic succession plan that began when she joined two years ago as Deputy Portfolio Manager. Belova has been a driving force behind the program's continued outperformance, capital raise momentum and expansion into other asset classes.

"Kim is an inspiring colleague and investor who is very well placed to replicate her successes and drive our ability to deliver sustainable real assets investment performance across our full global platform. As we look ahead, I thank Jeremy for his exceptional contributions to our firm and wish him all the success in his next chapter," said Chuck Leitner, CEO of CBRE Global Investors. "These executive appointments reflect a thoughtful, proactive succession strategy and commitment to invest in top professionals, balancing high-caliber external expertise with talented executives at our firm."
