CCR's emissions are calculated based on the GHG Protocol methodology. The 2021 Scope 2 emission factor is 2.5 times 2020 emission factor for the same period of the year. This value increased due to the lower availability of energy produced by hydroelectric plants in the Brazilian national interconnected system.

Emission factors are disclosed by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

CCR has an annual training and communication plan focused on the compliance program, with the objective of training employees on the Company's policies and rules.
