For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 132.563 million compared to TWD 104.885 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 155.369 million compared to TWD 35.144 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,219.325 million compared to TWD 1,254.941 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.66 compared to TWD 3.02 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.56 compared to TWD 2.91 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 290.940 million compared to TWD 413.521 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 474.774 million compared to TWD 40.512 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3,337.402 million compared to TWD 1,464.650 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.29 compared to TWD 3.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 6.99 compared to TWD 3.4 a year ago.
