Central Bank of India and Government of Bihar jointly organized a programme for distribution of Rs. 10.50 crore among 2200 women of Self Help Group under Bihar Livelihood JEEVIKA Project. On this occasion Shri M.V. Tanksale, Chairman & Managing Director, handed over a cheque of Rs. 10.50 crore to Shri Santosh Mathew, IAS, Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Govt. of Bihar in a function held in Patna.

Shri Tanksale in his speech assured that the Bank will always extend full support in improving the livelihood of people of Bihar specially women & down trodden. Shri Santosh Mathew appreciated the role of Central Bank of India for the development of the Bihar Government. On this occasion Principal Secretary Rural Development Department of Bihar Government, Mr. Santosh Matthew , other officials of JEEVIKA project, and executives working in Bihar were also present.
