On December 7, 2020, Century Aluminum Company (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Aluminum of South Carolina, Inc., had reached a preliminary agreement on the principal terms of a new, three-year power contract with the South Carolina Public Service Authority for the Mt. Holly aluminum smelter. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
