Horsham, UK: Ceres Power Holdings plc ('Ceres', the 'Company') (AIM: CWR.L), a global leader in fuel cell and electrochemical technology, announces the appointment of Tudor Brown MBE, as an independent Non-executive Director effective from 1 April 2021.

Tudor is one of the founding members of ARM Holdings plc, where he began his career over twenty years ago as a principal engineer. He was until May 2012 a member of the board of directors and President of ARM Holdings plc, with responsibility for developing high-level relationships with industry partners and governmental agencies as well as regional development with a focus on the Far East.

Tudor's wide-ranging involvement with ARM, including as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and subsequent board roles have given him extensive experience of business models, partner engagements and legal and financial disciplines. Coupled with his deep understanding of technology, Tudor brings huge value to Ceres at it seeks to establish itself as the industry standard in solid oxide technology, and to leverage its asset-light licensing business model into an increasing number of markets and geographies.

Tudor received an MA degree in Electrical Sciences from Cambridge University. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He was awarded as Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) on June 15, 2013.

Tudor, who is 62 years old, currently sits as an independent director on the boards of Lenovo Group and SMIC, both listed on HKSE and Marvell Semiconductor, listed on Nasdaq. He is also an independent director of Garrison, a privately held company in London.
