Ceylon Cold Stores Ltd. announced unaudited consolidated and parent financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported on consolidated basis revenue of LKR 5,823,778 against LKR 5,222,106 a year ago. Results from operating activities was LKR 151,011 against LKR 476,491 a year ago. Profit before tax was LKR 122,919 against LKR 463,703 million a year ago. Profit attributable to the shareholders was LKR 62,505 or LKR 0.66 per basic share against LKR 381,092 or LKR 4.05 per basic share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported on consolidated basis revenue of LKR 16,881,855 against LKR 14,928,546 a year ago. Results from operating activities was LKR 839,862 against LKR 1,002,235 a year ago. Profit before tax was LKR 776,240 against LKR 937,467 million a year ago. Profit attributable to the shareholders was LKR 492,802 or LKR 5.19 per basic share against LKR 691,148 or LKR 7.35 per basic share a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was LKR 1,535,148 against LKR 1,346,547 a year ago. Purchase and construction of property, plant and equipment was LKR 972,654 against LKR 619,642 a year ago.
