Ceylon Cold Stores Plc announced unaudited consolidated and company earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2018. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue was LKR 14,389,357 compared with LKR 12,483,996 a year ago. Results from operating activities were LKR 450,742 compared with LKR 1,035,224 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 191,421 compared with LKR 751,003 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were LKR 2.01 compared with LKR 7.90 a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported revenue was LKR 28,362,835 compared with LKR 24,826,736 a year ago. Results from operating activities were LKR 908,681 compared with LKR 2,010,225 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 430,348 compared with LKR 1,426,798 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were LKR 4.53 compared with LKR 15.01 a year ago.
