Changzhou Almaden Reports Earnings Results for the First Half of 2014; Provides Earnings Guidance for the First Three Quarters of the Year 2014; Plans to Establish Wholly-Owned Subsidiary in Japan

Changzhou Almaden reported earnings results for the first half of 2014. For the period, the company reported operating revenue of about CNY 400.78 million, up 51.21% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders dropped 16.65% to about CNY 19.03 million.
It expected net profit attributable to shareholders of CNY 25 million to CNY 28 million in the first three quarters of this year, down 39.07% to 45.6%.
In order to fuel expansion overseas, the company plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Japan. Total investment and registered capital each will not exceed USD 3 million and USD 2 million.

The Company mainly operates through three segments. The Photovoltaic Glass Anti-glare segment is engaged in the production and sale of photovoltaic coated glass. The Slim Double-glass Component segment is engaged in the production and sale of double-glass components.
