Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL third-quarter net profit rose 23% on year supported by higher sales of hogs and shrimp.

Net profit for the July September quarter came in at 7.48 billion baht ($247.3 million), the company said late Thursday.

Total revenue was up 19% on year to THB132.60 billion.

While international operations saw a 25% on year growth with sales touching THB88.94 billion, Thailand operations were up 10% on year at THB35.81 billion.

Charoen Pokphand is one of Thailand's biggest companies, operating integrated agro-industrial and food businesses, including livestock. It also operates retail and foods outlets in the country.
