Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CP Foods) and Charoen Pokphand Group have supplied foods and drinks for Ministry of Health to distribute for medical staffs who are working on Thailand's mass inoculations nationwide.

Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Health, along with Dr. Kiattipoom Wongrachit, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Public Health, and executives of the Ministry received ready-to-eat food products from Prasit Boondoungprasert, chief executive officer of CP Foods, as a part of 'CPF's food from the heart against Covid-19' project.

The project aims at supporting medical staffs and volunteers working on mass vaccination campaign against the coronavirus disease 2019 according to Charoen Pokphand Group policy to help Thailand and Thai people in time of crisis.

Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, thanked to CP Group, including CP Foods, for continuously helping a society during the Covid-19 crisis by supplying ready-to-eat food products since the first wave of outbreaks. The relief efforts have lighten the task of the government. The delicious and safe foods are also a great boost of morale for the team of doctors, nurses, and staff.

'Thank you for the kindness supports from CP Group's Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont, who mobilizes essential resources such as food, beverages and masks come to medical staffs.'

CP Foods's CEO Prasit Boondoungprasert added that the company has used the expertise in food business to support Thai people and, therefore, joining hands with the government and the Ministry of Public Health to deliver safe foods and beverages to medical staffs as well as quarantined people since the first wave of outbreaks. Until now, CP Foods has given more than a million packs of food to 500 locations nationwide, covering hospitals, field hospitals, communities in need, migrant workers, vulnerable groups and, recently, the supports has been extended to people who are vaccinated against COVID-19.

'CPF's food from the heart against Covid-19' project is in accordance with the policy of CP Group's Senior Chairman Dhanin Chearavanont, who wants all companies in the CP group to aid the society in the time of COVID-19.
