Chen Xing Development Holdings Limited reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2017. For the year, the company reported revenue of RMB 1,076,685,000 compared to RMB 1,081,989,000 a year ago. The decrease was mainly due to the completion of only Chang Xing Star Gardens during the reporting period, while other projects were in the clearance stage of the remaining units during the Reporting Period which generated a slight decrease in revenue. Profit before tax was RMB 296,041,000 compared to RMB 236,360,000 a year ago. Profit for the year was RMB 179,568,000 compared to RMB 146,962,000 a year ago. Profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent was RMB 170,519,000 or RMB 0.34 per basic and diluted share compared to RMB 151,832,000 or RMB 0.30 per basic and diluted share a year ago. The increase of the net profit attributable to owners of the company which was primarily due to the increase in net profit of the group as a result of the increase in wealth management income and the decrease in the sales and services costs for the year. The group recorded a negative operating cash flow of RMB 320.8 million as at 31 December 2017 while the group recorded a positive operating cash flow of RMB 831.1 million as at 31 December 2016.
