Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 22,028.770 million compared to TWD 28,455.523 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,451.933 million compared to TWD 2,497.523 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,263.930 million compared to TWD 1,696.868 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.7 compared to TWD 0.52 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 41,578.814 million compared to TWD 55,255.780 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,551.799 million compared to TWD 4,163.418 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 275.254 million compared to TWD 2,744.307 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.08 compared to TWD 0.85 a year ago.
Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of tires. The main products include radial automobile cover tires, radial truck cover tires, motorcycle cover tires, bike cover tires, inner tubes and other tires. The Company is also involved in the manufacture and sale of rubber and tire-related industrial products.
